Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: September 6, 2026

avnu, LLC

This Acceptable Use Policy (Policy) governs access to and use of the avnu platform, including its website, applications, features, content, and related services (collectively, the Platform). It applies to all users, including merchants, customers, and visitors.

This Policy supplements any other terms or agreements that apply to your use of the Platform. The examples below are illustrative and do not limit avnu’s ability to address other conduct that creates legal, security, operational, or reputational risk.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with this Policy. avnu may restrict or terminate access, remove content, or take other appropriate action in response to actual or suspected violations.

1 General Standards of Conduct

When using the Platform, you must:

  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Act honestly and in good faith
  • Respect the rights, safety, and property of others
  • Follow reasonable instructions and published requirements relating to the Platform

You may not use the Platform in a way that harms, exploits, deceives, or creates an unreasonable risk to avnu, its merchants, customers, service providers, systems, or the public.

2 Illegal and Restricted Activity

You may not use the Platform to offer, promote, facilitate, purchase, or sell:

  • Goods, services, content, or transactions that are illegal where offered, sold, purchased, delivered, or used
  • Stolen, counterfeit, fraudulent, or unlawfully obtained goods
  • Weapons, explosives, controlled substances, and all other products prohibited by the Merchant User Agreement or Product Quality Guidelines. This Policy does not create an exception to those prohibitions
  • Content or services involving sexual exploitation, trafficking, or abuse, including child sexual abuse material
  • Transactions intended to evade sanctions, export controls, anti-money-laundering requirements, or other legal restrictions

You are responsible for determining whether your activity and listings are lawful. avnu may prohibit additional categories when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, or manage Platform risk.

3 Fraud and Deceptive Practices

The following conduct is prohibited:

  • Fraudulent, unauthorized, or sham transactions
  • Payment manipulation, chargeback abuse, refund abuse, or use of stolen or unauthorized payment methods
  • Money laundering, structuring, or disguising the source or destination of funds
  • Misrepresenting your identity, affiliation, authority, products, services, pricing, inventory, or transaction terms
  • Impersonating another person, business, or avnu representative
  • Manipulating search placement, product rankings, engagement, or Platform metrics
  • Creating or using accounts, transactions, or content to evade limits, enforcement, or eligibility requirements

avnu may investigate suspected fraud and may preserve or report relevant information as permitted or required by law.

4 Reviews and User Content

Reviews and other content must be based on genuine experience and must not be misleading. You may not:

  • Create, submit, buy, sell, or arrange fake, fabricated, or materially misleading reviews or testimonials, including reviews attributed to people who do not exist or did not have the stated experience
  • Offer or accept compensation or another incentive that is conditioned on a review expressing a particular positive or negative sentiment
  • Submit or solicit reviews involving free products, discounts, compensation, employment, ownership, family relationships, or other material connections unless those connections are clearly and conspicuously disclosed. avnu may apply stricter rules to reviews used in advertising or submitted to third-party review programs
  • Use threats, intimidation, false accusations, or other improper pressure to suppress or remove an honest review
  • Coordinate review manipulation campaigns or buy or sell fake indicators of social influence
  • Post unlawful, defamatory, infringing, obscene, deceptive, or privacy-invasive content
  • Use reviews or other content to harass, threaten, or expose another person’s private information

avnu may moderate, restrict, or remove content that violates this Policy or other applicable rules. Honest reviews will not be removed merely because they are negative or critical of avnu or a merchant. Nothing in this Policy prohibits lawful consumer complaints, reports to regulators, or the exercise of statutory rights. avnu does not promise to review every item of user content.

5 Intellectual Property

You may not:

  • Upload, publish, sell, or use content or goods unless you have all rights and permissions required to do so
  • Infringe or misappropriate copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, rights of publicity, or other proprietary rights
  • Sell or promote counterfeit goods or use another party’s brand in a misleading way
  • Copy, scrape, download, reproduce, or distribute Platform content except as expressly authorized by avnu or permitted by law

avnu may remove or restrict allegedly infringing content, request supporting documentation, and cooperate with rights holders and lawful authorities.

6 Technical Misuse and Platform Interference

You may not:

  • Access or attempt to access non-public areas, accounts, data, or systems without authorization
  • Probe, scan, test, or circumvent authentication, security controls, rate limits, or access restrictions without written authorization
  • Introduce malware, malicious code, corrupted data, or other harmful material
  • Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or degrade the Platform or its supporting infrastructure, including through denial-of-service activity
  • Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or other automated systems except as authorized by avnu, including legitimate search-engine indexing and approved product-feed and integration activity
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code except to the extent such a restriction is prohibited by law
  • Exploit or publicly disclose a security vulnerability in a way that creates risk to users or systems

avnu may block traffic, rate-limit activity, or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the Platform.

7 Circumvention of Platform Fees

Unless avnu expressly permits otherwise in writing, merchants may not:

  • Direct customers to complete Platform-originated transactions off the Platform to avoid fees or controls
  • Include off-platform payment instructions or links in listings or transaction communications for that purpose
  • Encourage or assist customers in bypassing avnu checkout, payment, or transaction processes

Customers may not solicit or pressure merchants to complete Platform-originated transactions outside the Platform to avoid applicable fees or controls. Fee circumvention may result in cancellation, limits, suspension, or termination.

8 Data and Privacy

You may not:

  • Collect, harvest, access, or use personal information without a lawful basis and appropriate authorization
  • Use Platform data for unsolicited marketing, profiling, surveillance, or unrelated purposes
  • Sell, rent, license, or otherwise disclose Platform data except as expressly authorized by avnu and permitted by law
  • Disclose confidential merchant, customer, or Platform information without authorization
  • Attempt to reidentify anonymized, aggregated, or deidentified data

Merchants may use customer information received through avnu only to fulfill and support the relevant transaction, administer returns and recalls, prevent fraud, and comply with law. Merchants must protect that information, retain it only as necessary, and cooperate with privacy requests and security investigations. Receipt of an order does not authorize adding the customer to a marketing list, selling or sharing their information for advertising, or unrelated profiling. Separate marketing requires the customer’s legally valid permission and avnu’s express authorization.

9 Communications and Spam

You may not use the Platform to:

  • Send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, chain messages, or unauthorized promotions
  • Phish for credentials or financial information
  • Transmit misleading, fraudulent, or malicious links or attachments
  • Misrepresent the source, subject, purpose, or recipient of a communication
  • Contact users for purposes unrelated to a legitimate Platform transaction or interaction

10 Harassment Abuse and Safety

The following conduct and content are prohibited:

  • Harassment, stalking, intimidation, threats, or targeted abuse
  • Hateful or dehumanizing content, or discrimination based on protected characteristics
  • Content that incites, threatens, or meaningfully facilitates violence or serious harm
  • Sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, grooming, or any exploitation or endangerment of minors
  • Human trafficking, forced labor, or other severe exploitation
  • Publishing another person’s sensitive or private information without authorization when doing so could cause harm

avnu may remove content or restrict access immediately when necessary to protect users or prevent harm.

11 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account. You must promptly notify avnu if you suspect unauthorized access or a security incident.

  • Do not share individual credentials, sell or transfer an account, or permit unauthorized account access
  • Do not create or use multiple accounts to evade restrictions, fees, eligibility rules, or enforcement
  • Do not attempt to access or take control of another user’s account
  • Do not interfere with another user’s ability to secure or use an account

12 Investigations and Enforcement

To the extent permitted by law and applicable agreements, avnu may:

  • Review relevant activity and content and investigate suspected violations
  • Request information or documentation needed to evaluate risk or compliance
  • Reject, remove, limit, or disable listings, content, transactions, features, or accounts
  • Suspend or terminate access and prevent a user from creating or using additional accounts
  • Delay, hold, reverse, or withhold transactions or payouts where permitted and reasonably necessary
  • Preserve or disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and the Platform
  • Report suspected unlawful activity to payment partners, rights holders, regulators, or law enforcement

Enforcement does not extinguish valid customer refund rights or accrued payment obligations. Enforcement may occur without advance notice when reasonably necessary to prevent harm, protect the Platform, or comply with law. avnu may consider the severity, frequency, and impact of the conduct, as well as a user’s history and cooperation. Failure to enforce this Policy in one instance does not waive avnu’s right to enforce it later.

13 Reporting Violations and Appeals

Report suspected violations or request review of an enforcement decision by contacting info@shopavnu.com. Include enough information to identify the account, listing, transaction, content, or decision at issue. Do not send passwords or highly sensitive personal information unless avnu specifically requests it through a secure method.

If there is an immediate threat to safety, contact local emergency services first. avnu may request supporting documentation and may be unable to disclose information about another user or an ongoing investigation.

14 Changes to This Policy

avnu may update this Policy from time to time. Where required by law, avnu will provide notice of material changes. The revised Policy becomes effective when posted or on any later date stated in the notice. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Platform.
